found a photo of my parents and my apartment buildings taken in 1932. the demolished corner is now the captain jacob joseph playground. next to that is my parents building, which used to house the school for crippled children. next one over is my building, which was the 2nd location of the rabbi jacob joseph school (the great-grandpop of captain JJ… the school is now in staten island).
