ah kids. gosh i hope so. get out and vote so that...
kay: today at work two 8 yr old boys got into a fight. they were pulled apart and i took the two of them aside to work it out and move on. we went through the motions about what you could do if someone tries to fight with you at school, moved on to why school is different than the street, and on to why it's better to be in after school than be sent home by yourself. then they noted that next tuesday there is no school so they get to be in after school all day, which they were now pretty pumped about. i asked them if they knew why there's no school... here were their responses:
S: uuuuuum, it's easter
me: no
S: valentine's day?
me: nope
K: easter?
me: no, he said that already
K: i know i know! it's martin luther king day!
me: no but getting closer
S: uuuuuh, summertime?
me: nuh-uh, let me give you guys a clue, it has to do with two people who have been on tv recently and..
